Hopelessly Optimistic: Casa por Rosa

Building a house for Rosa has been a true labor of love for all of us! So many generous people sent money to provide a home for Rosa and her children which would allow them to live together again, I can't tell you how happy they all are about that! It is a project that has been accomplished by many hearts. For some, Rosa is someone they have met and for some they have not but, the Spirit moved to accomplish this work. It has been one of those things that as we were working I felt the scripture in action that says.."Good works God prepared for you in advance" it just felt like a divine appointment.
Through the generosity of God's people we have been able to built a bigger than normal house with a few extras that make it all the more special for her family.
We have little more work to do but here are some pictures of the project so far!!!

Day One:
When Rosa brought Mark and I to see her land her view took our breath away! It is the most beautiful view I have ever seem from a house site. Her view over looks the Tigre mountain!

Day Two
Mark, Joe, Melissa, Pk and I set out to begin the leveling process on the property..Armed with shovels, pick ax and bars we began to tackle the mountain before us. We had to raise the front section of the property 5 feet and bring the back side down to meet it...Yes the word BOBCAT passed (several times) our lips but we couldn't get it there!!!
