If you know me you know I do not shop at Walmart...and I will give you hard time if you mention the W word.
Their slogans for the season are
Pay less..Live better. AND The more you save, The more Christmas you can give.
So I ask....
at whose expense?????
Let's see:
Local merchants who can no longer open their doors
Developing country workers who do not make a livable wage.
Their employee who do not make a livable wage.
Workers in factories in developing countries who work inhuman conditions.
Just to name a few.

Preach it, sister. I'm not down with the W word either.
A from Minnesota
JC says to tell you that he and the whole International Brotherhood of Teamsters are down with the W word either (both of them...). Hahaha. Go TARGET!
Ya, Walmart sucks. I won't shop there either. One of my kids got a gift certificate from there for Christmas this year. I'm morally paralyzed. Of course, the deeper you look into almost any company, the more you find offensive practices...
Best gift I got this year was a gift basket of stuff from 10 Thousand Villages. All fair trade. All ethically produced. All benefitting someone who needs it. Nice.
Btw, your tree sounds wonderful.
Hope you've had a good Christmas all round.
