Graduation Day

Today I had the blessing of being in country for a graduation day. At the Mi Esperanza House
The women were so excited for their day!!! The salon graduates were in the salon "primping" together before the ceremony wanting to look just right. They each were so proud to receive their diploma and be honored for their accomplishment. I don't think many of them have had much of that in their lives.

The best part was to listen to them talk with excitement and optimism about the future and the possibilities it holds. They have dreams...dreams that now could come true, they have hope and thats what Mi Esperanza has always been about. We want to give hope because....When there is hope in a heart, despair does not have room to grow, their is a light that brightens the roads ahead to a better life.
I was over come with joy today to watch these young women walk out the doors of our facility with a new vision for their lives.
That what Jesus did didn't He...he gave us new eyes, filled hearts and the strength to walk on.
I thank God everyday for what I see and learn here and am so blessed to be a part of!!!
