Awareness Saves Lives

Today is the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 98% is the cure rate for all breast cancer caught early...that's why awareness and education is so important. The death count continues to decrease, this good news!

I was volunteering this morning at the Komen for the Cure. I was folding t-shirts..pink..survivor shirts. There were a lot of them, that made me happy...it made me sad. I know there is no explanation or rhyme or reason to surviving and dying..but I still wonder why. I wish my mom was here and wearing a pink shirt!

Practice good breast health..make sure the women and your life practice good breast health. Early detection is key to survival!!!!

There are a lot of breast cancer products out there this month and all year. Shop pink and support the cause!!!

Your mom has been on my mind a lot as it is every year at this time - thank you for serving. I know you miss her deeply and you are right, there is no rhyme or reason as to why some survive and some do not. Take comfort in knowing how loved you all were and what a blessing you all were in her life.

I love you,
Jen
