It's good to be here

Have you ever been in place in your life where you just think "it's good to be here". I am there. I just celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary, I am going to be a grandmother (my name to be Lola), both of my children are living their own lives, happily and living their own life of faith and I am happy to be here.
I am happy with the everyday of getting up and just doing my life as ordinary as it may seem to others. I love knowing and feeling God's presense even in the simplest of activities. I love having a marriage that is comfortable...not comfortable in a bad way but in a way that says I have a soul mate. I love our ordinary life with our dog Esperanza. I love that a great night for me is sitting reading a good book by the fire, with my dog at my feet and Mark on the coach.
I love having a faith community that encourages my passion and supports Mark and I and our love for Honduras. I love our work there and the relationships I have with the people there. I love that the people there teach me everyday what is truly important in life and that life is not about the rat race to having and getting, but it is the joy of giving of myself and all I have.
I love that I have a God who has never left me and continues to show me grace and lead me in the paths of rightoueness no matter how underserving I am.
