Ask God?

So i had a crazy idea..it actually came from a half sleep, half awake state of being the other morning, when I wasn't quite awake but I wasn't fully asleep. You know how your mind does crazy things when you are like that.

What if, every time we wanted to buy something we [had] to ask God, we had to fill out a purchase request stating why we needed to buy it, why we needed that particular size or quantity and He had to approve or deny the request.

I just wonder... would I most often be embarrassed to ask for something else, would i think about each purchase more with a different standard or measure?

It is said;
"God has all the money in the world"..true enough,
but here is the kicker! it is in the hands of a bunch of self consumed humans who think of ourselves far more than we ought and are blinded to the hold the world has on us through "our" money. I believe beyond a shadow of a doubt ,this will condemn us before God and we won't even see it coming.

Lord, have mercy on our souls
