Junior and Justin Prine, David Koski and company were working again in Santa Ana, trying to finish a job that seems to be never-ending. They are determined, however, and Junior has earned his "No Junk for Jesus" T-shirt.
There was a large team of people at the IRC warehouse unloading our container, which finally arrived today. Mark said that this group (including Joel, Nicki Koski, both Lisa's, Jordan, and Jacob) demonstrated the greatest amount of patience, as the container did not even arrive until 3 PM. They did that in under an hour and came back to the mission house to pack bags of food. Currently that team is still working on packing food, even though devo is over and curfew is in just 30 minutes. Talk about diligence!
Mark, Joe, Gena, and Anibal went into San Miguel to check the status of the river and the community. The river was twice as high as it has been all week, and the damage continues. Houses are starting to crumble with the weight of the rain and mud and rocks that are sliding down the mountain. It's so sad, but it looks as if God is really opening some doors for us to minister to this community. We are praying, though, that the Lord will stop the rain so that San Miguel doesn't suffer more damage.
We sat and played with the children for hours: the house is well-supplied with a playground, soccerfield, and trampoline. Jimmy had even invited children from the community to share in the fun. We broke out a cotton-candy machine that Tim Hines has, and there were pink faces and sticky fingers everywhere! Raquel Ayala, Melissa Koski and Paige Prine were the expert cotton candy chefs.
After playing for a bit, we went over to the rehabilitation center just down the street. Here they welcome all sorts of drug addicts and criminals, and in three months they walk away clean, if they choose to walk away. We were all struck today by the number of people who graduate this program and stay to minister to other people. They shared lunch with us, shared a song with us, and Jimmy even shared a motivational message with us. He was saying that God has called all of us to minister to someone. "There is someone out there right now praying," he said, "and YOU are God's answer to that prayer." He was extreme, but very legitimately on fire for the Lord.
We loaded up and went to Didasko, which is another children's home just 15 minutes down the road. This is by far the poorest home that TORCH visits, and it is so far out in the country that TORCH is about the only group who ever comes. We had not told this place we were coming, and when the bus pulled in, the kids were dancing on the porch for joy!
At devo tonight we all talked about how God is calling us to excellence (a message Jimmy Hughes had given us). We all realized that we are to go to the end of the road, and beyond. We're looking forward to what God has in store for us, especially in San Miguel.
More pictures later!!

RACHAEL FOWLER FAMILY AND FRIENDS,
Hey everyone!! As I´m sure you have been reading, the rain here is OUT OF CONTROL!! It has rained every single day since we have been here, and some days, it has rained non'stop, even through the night. All this rain is causing great damage, especially in the village of San Miguel, where we are working this year! Houses have fallen and are continuing to crumble by the hour. The river has flooded and is washing away any and everything in its path.
The Children´s Homes we visited yesterday, Tuesday, were amazing. I did video tape some of it, so I can´t wait for you to see it!! I for real would have brought home some of those kids if I thought I could have gotten them through customs!!
Anyways, thank you all so much for continuing to leave me so many wonderful messages!! Everyone is jealous of all of my wonderful and dedicated family and friends!! Please continue to keep our group in your prayers. But I am begging that you please pray for the Honduras people and specifically the people in the village of San Miguel, as they are literally watching their lives wash away in front of their very eyes. Thank you all for your love and support, you´ll never understand how much it means!!
I love you all, and I´ll do my best to ¨blog¨again soon!! Take care and God Bless!!
Love ALWAYS!!

Hello to Brian , Tyler and Chris
Hope you are all doing ok. We love seeing all the things that are going on there.
Things are going good here. L Brian is now a spectrum employee as of this coming weekend. So Tyler he thanks you.

Lisa / Grandmom, Chris and Brian
Brett, Joel, and Jordon, Have seen a few pictures of you folks. Sounds like they are splitting you up to oversee various projects. I see you have to stay flexisble for all the changes in weather. Michele was a little concerned yesterday when she saw a possible storm developing North of Honduras. Arlene as it is being called is probably what is causing all the bad weather; however, I believe it is going away from Honduras. Hope to hear from all of you soon. Dad Flanary
TO: RACHAEL FOWLER
Hey Rach. Writing through tears as I can imagine how devastating the rain has been for all of Honduras. I miss you but know you are exactly where you need to be and where God can really use you. Don't forget how to speak English and take care of yourself and others. Blessings & Love, MOM :*)P.S. We pick up Trina tomorrow!

Sawyer Family,
Melissa emailed me about Okolona building a house & dedicating it to your Dad. My heart goes out to all of you. I've been there & know how it feels to lose a Dad & Mom. I am so proud of our group that they would/could do that for you. Hey, your Dad is smiling down on you guys; he's proud, too! Love you and miss you and know that you are putting lights in a lot of people's lives there. I pray for the time to go slow for you so that you can get lots done. See you on the 18th!!! Love, Linda W.
Hey Eddie & Chris (Okolona group),
Don't know if anyone is sending you blogs so thought that I would. Just a warning, Tony took Danielle to Kings Island today!! That's ok, he's a good guy (my nephew you know). Hope you are both having a rewarding time. The msgs. from there are so heartwarming that I just read them & cry. Then Melissa told me about the house you guys dedicated to Sawyers; that will mean the world to them. You are all in my prayers & come home safely. Love you guys, Linda W.
Hey Sawyer Clan,
Gosh, you are all there so who you gonna get blogged by? Well, guess I can do it!! Saw a great picture of you today, Larry. You have a wonderful smile! In spite of the poverty, you have a lot to smile about. I wish I could get that across to my lady boss. Okolona buiding a house & dedicating it to your Dad's memory touched me, too. You know he has to be smiling down on you! If you get two of these, call me senile; feels like I already sent one. It's fun. Love reading all about your day; so much better than yrs. before. I just don't know when to stop. Love all you guys, Linda W.
TORCHERS,
It sounds as if things are going great there. I know the rain must by frustrating. I know because it has been raining here in S Florida for two weeks now, every day and many days all day. I know it much be extrememly hard to understand but we can only pray that God knows what he is doing and he has a plan in this somewhere. I know that it is harder than it seems but I know God has something in mind. JC and I continue to pray for all you are doing there and we are there in spirit. I totally enjoy reading the blogs that my mom writes. She is doing a GREAT job portraying your work. Keep it up and you are all in our prayers.

Porque tu, SENOR, bendices a los justos; cual escudo los rodeas con tu buena voluntad."
